Football themed engagement photos

It's not weird but actually more popular now. A few years ago before even being engaged it was an idea I had since FH and I have big rival NFL teams, but now I think it's overdone so I just want regular formal engagement pics. Hope that helps?

Not weird at all, these are actually super common! Engagement pictures can be as formal or as casual as your want! Do you guys have team jerseys you're going to wear?

Yes we have team jerseys but I didn't even think about that because we both like different teams

I personally wouldn't do a themed engagement photo session, BUT they're YOUR pics so it really doesn't matter what others think about it.

As a side note, I have a friend who did baseball themed e-pics (classic posed e-pics wearing their jerseys). They came out pretty cute.

I don't think it is strange at all. Many couples incorporate their interests in their photos - them cooking, them at a coffee shop, them at a baseball stadium. It could be super cute.

I don't think it's weird. We're both Sharks fans, so we took a few pics in Sharks jerseys, but the majority of our pictures were in nice outfits.

Not weird at all. FH and I are both obsessed with baseball, even got engaged at a baseball game, so we are doing some baseball e-pics and some in something we would wear daily.

Have some picture football themed but also have a change of clothes for more formal pictures.

We did a baseball/softball theme epic shoot. I wore my red Sox jersey, he wore his Phillies jersey. We put our date on softballs for a couple pictures and used those for our save the dates. hubby doesn't like dressing up that much so this was a compromise we came up with

Some of our friends did this in their college/alma mater team jerseys! (They met in college) I think they had special ones made with their new last name on them though. It was really cute and personal to them!

We're having two outfit choices so we're doing one in nice clothes and one in our Bruins jerseys since we're both huge fans and that's we're he proposed

We did football engagement pics and our wedding will have touches of football related things in it... we are HUGE HUGE FOOTBALL Team rivals...

I think it's cute! And if it totally fits your personality then go for it!

Love it!! if that's what yall love then its so worth it! Id recommend going to some stadium and bringing a football but wearing normal clothes for some and jerseys for others just to see which look best!

We did a basketball theme pictures and we actually like them better than the formal ones. Definitely not weird, go for it!

I would do a combo of some with the football theme & some without. Later in life you'll be glad you got a few traditional pictures.

I think it's really cute, especially if you support different teams. My FH and I are two different teams, and I love the idea.
