For the ladies who want to know when to get their dress…

I received a call from the bridal store yesterday informing me that my dress would be delayed at least a month. Due to a supply chain issue, the designer did not have the material to finish the tulle skirt. I’m not sweating it because I expected Covid would cause delays & I still expect possible delays in shipping since mail delivery has been horrendous. Fortunately, I ordered my dress 12 months out & there is plenty of time. I just wanted to give my fellow brides a heads up: don’t wait too long to order your dress!!!

    I say this allll the time. I rather have it and know it’s there than stress about it coming too late.

    I did the exact same thing, but was very lucky and had no delays.

    That’s been my motto from the beginning! I’ve tried to get everything I could possibly get done booked, ordered, or arranged well in advance of the recommended timeline & I certainly haven’t regretted it!

    Great advice! I found my dream dress and ordered it the same day (April 10th) and it'll be ready sometime in October for our December wedding! You never know how long it'll take and it's better to lock down the gown early rather than scramble/potentially settle for something since you didn't plan ahead!

    This has been me too. There have been some things that I have no doubt I might have been able to get on sale or whatever closer to the time, but on the other hand.. now I have my table numbers or my gift robes or whatever, and I can stop thinking and worrying about it!
