For those not having a ring bearer

andrea, on September 7, 2017 at 4:13 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 34

Who is going to have the rings if you don't have a ring bearer. Does the best man hold them or do you just give them to the officiant before the ceremony?

We did not have a ring bearer or a best man (we didn't give titles to wedding party), but my brother stood next to my H so he held the rings.

Best man, your officiant, possibly your parents.

You can do either. We had the best woman hold them.

I hadn't thought of that. I figure the best man will do it.

The MOH and BM will carry ours. They'll likely end up giving them to the officiant or directly to us when the times comes.

We had the best man hold them. I had a ring bearer but there's no way I would give our rings to him.

Our ring bearer will be too little to take care of the rings, so we're having the best man take care of them.

Either of them. You can also request each other's mom's to help with th and exchange- it will be a cute way to include them in the ceremony.

Didn't trust my 2 year old nephew with the rings, so we got him a sign that said "Anybody seen the rings?" to carry. We had the BM hold the rings until the officiant asked for them.

It's best if MOH holds the groom's ring and Best Man holds the bride's ring. Best wishes!

Husband held on to them until the start of the ceremony. Then he passed them to the officiant, and he had everyone pass them around and warm them with good vibes while we did the vows thing.

Our original plan was that H would hold them, but he ended up passing them to the officiant.

Our bridal party is all kids and I'm not comfortable having any of them hold onto them. FH's dad will hold onto them and bring them up when we need them.

@C&N, I'm with you. Our BP consists of our 3 teenagers so we are leaning towards having FH's father hold them.
