For those not having a ring bearer

We're going to let the best man hold on to them.

I have a ring bearer but he does NOT have the rings. The best man will have the rings. I have seen the best man and maid of honor hold the rings before, but my sister is my MOH and she fidgets. Even with a short ceremony it is highly likely she would end up dropping the ring in the sand at some point.

We are having a ring bearer but he's 4, so the best man will be holding on to our rings.

Ring bearer never had the ring. No one should trust a young child with their rings. They normally have dummy rings. BM should have them, if no BM, then the groom.

The Best Man held my ring and the MOH held my husband's ring.
