For those who are getting married during this pandemic- will you wear your mask when you walk down the aisle?

No. I will not do a mask but I am having a minimony. Honestly everyone else can but I want my pics maskless. I would say as long as you keep your distance then you should be fine. I know I want my ceremony my FH and I no masks.

Thank you! Yeah. We will be having a really small church (outdoor) wedding with strictly family.

Heck no lol. We are providing guests masks if they need one. We are only having 50 people at a venue for 175 and outdoor ceremony. I do have a custom bridal mask if there should be some weird reason I need one that day I have one.

My thoughts exactly! Lol.. I also had a pair customized masks for me and my fiancé. Our guests would be strictly family.. but they told me they would be wearing masks...

Yeah so if anything maybe the guests can be masked and I hate to sound vain but the only way I am wearing a mask is if I had COVID which I would need to postpone anyways lol. I am not paying to get hair and make up done for me....I could see a few pics with masks as kind of a silly nod to the pandemic but I want our pics esp ceremony unmasked.

True that! Since this will be a small wedding, I will be doing my HaMU, didn’t hire photographers, just gonna rely on family members for pictures...

No. I have asked my bridal party to not wear masks during the ceremony and pictures. After that I don't care. I get awful migraines from masks so I don't plan on wearing one most of the day to avoid this

My venue is indoors in MD so everyone is required to wear masks. However, my FH and I are not required to wear masks during the ceremony. So everyone else will be, but we won’t. At first it was a big deal to me and I didn’t want the bridal party to wear masks, especially for pictures. but now honestly seeing first hand how bad Covid can be, I’m just happy these people are choosing to still be there and there health and safety is my top priority. Hoping some will be willing to take off the masks for photos outdoors though.

I agree.. safety is always a top priority.. yours and your guests. I hope everything goes well! My guests will be wearing masks - they are all family members.

We will not be wearing mask for the ceremony but will have custom ones for us and mask provided for guest. Our venue is outside, our guest list is small, and seats will social distanced. We will be wearing a mask when mingling with guest (at a safe distance.) I have to be honest, I’ve never been a hugger and I am so excited that guest won’t be hugging due to social distancing.

I did! We had a bunch of pictures taken of just the two of us without masks, but we kept them on for the ceremony until the kiss part. Everyone else was also wearing masks, and I made all of them so they were coordinated in pictures.
