Forest Weddings: Let's See Your Style Inspiration Pictures! 🌲📷

Originally, I had really wanted to have a wedding amongst the trees at my parent’s country house! But, logistically, it worked out better for us to have it in the city. I still have my original inspiration picture though, and look at it longingly now & then LOL

Did an adventure shoot in the forest! Got a second dress that had beautiful flow to contrast with the rigidity of the cliffs and mimic the movement of the plants. Had a dried floral hair piece and a lace top to bring in the nature to my clothes.

View Quoted Comment We aren’t having a “theme”, per se. Just a color scheme and general vibe. We decided to have it at the Palmer House because it has been my favorite hotel since I was a child, and I loved the romantic history of it. Potter Palmer gifted the hotel to his bride on their wedding night! Plus, it allows our out of state and international guests to all stay in one place and eliminates the need for anyone to get a car service after the wedding. I adored the idea of just keeping it simple with a forest ceremony, but I know our city wedding will be amazing too! 💕
