Forgot to put time on wedding invitation.

Jocelyn , on February 12, 2018 at 10:05 PM Posted in Planning 0 12
Sooooo.... I made an error and believe it or not I didn’t realize it until a friend of mine pointed it out. AFTER I already mailed out the invitations. So I forgot to put the time on the wedding invitations. Although I KNOW I had it on the proof (but I will deal with SF later). The fact of the matter is that it’s not on there, I have a website though. Do you think that’s still okay? I’m just trying to feel better about the situation.

Okay, I FEEL YOU. I was trying to purchase the invites before a sale and put the wrong address for the church. I’m covering it with a tied ribbon and hoping people look on the website. 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈

lthough it’s inconvenient, it’s not the end of the world. People will check the website, and you can direct them there if necessary. Don’t stress. ❤️

ETA: You could also include a details card with the time on it if possible!!!

Oh no! I’m so sorry that happened! Is there a way you can start spreading the time through word of mouth? I think the website will help though, and I’m sure anyone who isn’t sure will ask Smiley smile

I would do a second mailout. You don't have to redo the invitations but I would make sure your guests receive the correct information. You can get inexpensive business cards

Nice, that’s also a good idea!!! So spending on anther set if stamps is okay even though the wedding is this June? Will that be enough time?

Actually, I just picked up on the fact that you said the time was on the proof. I would contact the printer first thing tomorrow morning and have them reprint them in a rush order. at their expense. Your invitations were mailed on the early side anyhow, so you have time.

You need to mail something out to all the guests with the time. I rarely look at wedding web sites, nor do my friends and family.

Hi, this just happened to me! My aunt reached out and said “there’s no time on the invitation” did you just put it on your website or did you send something else out?! Not sure what to do, luckily I only sent half out at the time bc I had to order more accommodations card. Just wondering what you ultimately decided doing or if you have an advice for me!?

    thank you!!
