Forgotten Details

I forgot to make escort cards until the morning of the wedding. I wrote out ~200 of them by hand in about 30 minutes first thing on my wedding morning

Get your engagement ring cleaned the week of your wedding. I tried mine on with my wedding rings a few days ago and it looked SO dull in comparison that I had to scramble to get it cleaned this week.

Don't forget to bring items for the details photos: your invitation suite, some ribbon or fabric for styling, and some extra blooms from your florist!

Basically placecards so people know what table to sit at! If you're doing a sit down dinner, people will often put a sticker or color code of some kind to indicate to caterers who is eating what. If you're not having assigned seating you don't need to worry about this at all!

We did a DIY social hour. appetizers donated by some of my parent's friends. and my mother in law handled that. we did a DIY boba bar and my mom was like did you get cups? of course i did mom... she goes did you get pitchers or something to serve the drinks from? of course, i have beverage dispensers ... and then she asked did you get napkins?

I FORGOT NAPKINS! i lied and said yes though haha to not give her the satisfaction that i forgot. and then immediately after i called my husband and told him WE NEED NAPKINS. luckily this was days before so we had time.

I asked myself the exact same thing

We left the marriage license at home. Luckily we remembered the night before and our venue was local so we could easily go home to get it.
We also forgot the easel for our custom guest book. Its one where the guests sign butterflies and drop them in a frame, so it was a little awkward, but not the end of the world.

I ended up ordering my "fancy" hangers (for the dress pictures) the week of the wedding - completely slipped my mind
