Formal Invitation to Follow

I think people will automatically assume the formal invitations will follow. Not necessary, don't stress it!

Eh I didn't have that line and no one got confused. I wouldn't worry about it.

I didn't have it on mine. People generally understand that these aren't formal invites since they say "Save the Date" on them.

Someone posted about theirs and said they forgot that line and sent them out and started getting calls about RSVPing but I've also heard of guests doing that even when "formal invitation to follow" is on the STD. I think it totally depends on the crowd. DH's family and friends thought the STD was an invitation despite the addition saying "invitation to follow" but none of my family or friends thought this.

I had that line and some people still tried to rsvp to the STD. People don't read things.

I wouldn't worry about it, it's kinda assumed that they'll receive a formal invitation as the save the date is for just that. It doesn't have any other info other than typically the general location and date!
