Formal or not formal? (pictures wanted)

I wanted a ballgown with a very dramatic skirt and train, plus a veil, so I personally felt really any bling would be too much for me and my personality (no shade to other people who can rock it though - I LOVE a dramatic outfit!)

This is my dress - but I'm having sleeves added and the sash is a peachy pink. I'm also having peachy-pink tulle added to the underskirts so if I lift them up you'll just get a hint of pink!

For jewellery, I wanted simple, classic and timeless, so I went with these:

I've heard bracelets can get caught on your dress or the veil, so I'm not wearing one of those, I'll just wear the necklace my fiance bought me which has a peach sapphire to match my engagement and wedding ring:

and, then I'm wearing these very impractical shoes:

I went with what is for me a pretty flashy dress (and for some reason have only taken pictures of the back of it!!). It has lace, sequins, and beading, which I’m hoping will show up under better lights….



For accessories I’m doing sapphire studs


And I’m doing this flowery comb in my hair- theoretically with a plain veil too.

My shoes are very boring though. 🤣

My dress has lace and tulle. My hairpiece, bracelet, earrings, and shoes are all covered in jewels. I don't have any pics with me, but I am going all out! haha

This is my dress, I don't want to post the pic of me in it in case my FH comes on here! the pattern is actually all sequins so the dress SPARKLES under lighting. It is AMAZING. The train is my favorite part! I am adding detachable sleeves for the ceremony, and the straps will be thicker. I am still undecided about if I will have any hair accessories.

My dress has a lot of detail so I’m just wearing Diamond studs gifted to me by my future MIL, a hair comb and veil. I haven’t decided on shoes yet!

I'm going pretty casual, because I just don't like wearing jewelry (aside from my ring). My grandmother is going to make me a flower crown and I still haven't decided on my shoes but i would like something like this...
