Foul! Which guest deserves a flag on the play?

Which of your guests has committed a “flaggable” offense? Are they walking on thin ice for RSVPing for plus five, asking you to change your wedding date or time, or did they throw you a total curveball with bizarre complaints or requests? Photo by Atlanta Contemporary Art Center in Atlanta Next...

Next Question: Suit Up! What are you wearing on game day?

Back to the Starting Block: Step up to the (planning) plate!

Nothing so far except the majority of the guest list seeming to want to wait till the last minute to RSVP. 😡

My FH and I changed the date from next September to September in 2022 so we can have the dream wedding I want and save more money for it.

I sent out my STDs on Paperless Post, which allows you to see who opens them. We had someone swear they saw it, when we know they didn't! They then fessed up that they never opened it because they knew the date already. It made me mad because you have to pay to send a card on Paperless Post! I could have saved that coin for someone who would have seen the card I spent hours agonizing over (and my wedding website as well!)

Small thing in the scheme of things, but it was still annoying Smiley smile

My cousin asked my fiancee when our wedding was while I was in the shower at my parents for Thanksgiving right after we got engaged. She said it was good that we were waiting a couple years (at that point - we are finally in the year!) because our "fake wedding" couldnt outshine her sister's "real marriage" - and her sister wasnt even engaged yet!!! Both of them have been debating whether or not they can come to a "fake" ceremony or if they will just come to the reception to party with the family. All of this because we are an LGBT couple.... We are still inviting them as a final olive branch but if they dont come to the ceremony, they wont be welcome at the reception - and we will be letting them know that. We have decided that the only people who will be allowed in the reception if they miss the ceremony (barring an emergency situation) are the friends who are in emergency services because shift changes a couple hours before the wedding starts but if they are on a call at shift change they dont get to leave until it is over and have been late on occasion to events because of that. We just dont want to spend money on a party for people who dont support our relationship - we arent hosting a family reunion.

No one. Everyone knows better to keep their negative opinions to themselves unless they are offering me funds for the wedding.

We haven't set the list in stone yet, but people we don't know well are always asking "i'm invited right"?

My MOH... she had the most complaints/issues of anyone and has actually tried to stress me out MORE. Finally I had to designate a second MOH to actually do the job right (first MOH is my cousin).

Definitely my mom. She has been the most difficult to deal with throughout this entire process.

I'm so sorry. I may be joining you in that boat.

I took 3 hours to craft an email to her on Monday and it's crickets. ...But that may be because I ignored her previous email, in which she asked me to do all the work to see my old, unused wedding dress... for her to keep the money. She emailed me while FH was sick and then tragedy struck my work. In my email, I told her I didn't have time to do all that work for her, said I needed my grandmother's jewelry (it's legally mine), asked for family addresses, and ... kinda made it clear her help isn't needed otherwise.

    She's going to be fun.

I had someone RSVP, tell me never mind, then say they are coming but can they bring a plus one. I said no and they shot back with "well, I'll think about coming then"

Nothing so far🤔 fingers crossed 🤞🏽
I’m hoping to have a fairly New paved road with our wedding planning and our ceremony.
We still have a bit ways to go...🙃
