I found this picture of a centerpiece online and fell in love it it!

How in the world do i make this!???

its flowers submerged in water

it looks like the branches are clued to the bottom of the vase and the roses are on wire wrapped around the branches?

Does anyone have any idea what kind of branches those are?

I would say find the flower you want Tie/Glue a small but heavy rock to the bottom to hold it down thats what it looks like to me

Unsure of the branch type but im sure any branches or reeds will work. and yeah it does look like the flowers are on a wire wrapped around the sticks

That's cute! You may have to use that "fake water" looking glue that florists use, for the bottom. As for the branches, go to your local craft store and see what you could use for that. You may not get *exactly* what's on the pic, but you'll get blose enough. I know I have seen similar stuff at Hobby Lobby Smiley smile

I found out who the Florist is that made this, I did contact them to see if they could tell me how to do this on my own since they are located out of state, so i cross my fingers that they get back to me :?

I wonder if they used real flowers?

anchor the flower(s). After talking with my MOH (used to be a florist) we decided to attach wire to the stem of the rose and create a spiral (flat) that would be on the bottom of the vase and then cover it with flat marbles

I asked a florist about that once and he said that it is a thing called a "frog" that holds it down. maybe google that and see what you come up with?! Good luck! Its really cute!

The branches are curly willow. I believe you can just put them in standing up and they'll be fine. No need to anchor.

To anchor the roses, tie floral wire to the stem and attach to the curly willow

We used curly willow for our centerpieces. The ones in the centerpiece are part of a branch. They're heavy enough you wont need to anchor them down. But if you want to add rocks to the bottom for decoration it would look great! And ofcourse, it will keep the vase more bottom heavy incase someone bumps it or the table.

That is called a sumerged flower centerpiece and they can be kinda pricey depending on the height of the vases. I was going to do this but then chose the ostrich feather centerpieces instead.

If you google submerged flower centerpeices different sites will come up with instructions. You can use real flowers or silk flowers that dont bleed. You either glue or tie a weight to the end of the flowers... then you fill the vase with distilled water (so you dont get bubbles). You can float a floating candle on top if you would like.

If you decide to go this route there are good prices on vases on ebay!!

Here is an example of a tall one, and short one.

Some submerged flower centerpieces need a frog but in the pic you posted they didn't use one. They look like this and you use the pins to hold the flowers down so they don't float. But it doesn't look like they used one for what you posted

Oh and you cover the frog with something like river rock or marbles so they don't show in the centerpiece. I've heard of some people using wire or tying heavy washers to the stems also.

Online it says to use aquarium glue to glue it or you can use fishing weights or washers to weigh them down...
