I think on the first round for overall they can give anything from 1-10

But on the others they have to put the brides in order of 1-2-3

    1st get 10 points

    2nd get 6 points

    3rd gets 3 points

It's strange how they do it but it's the only not to get someone low scored. If that makes any sense. LOL

I cannot believe the girls where raving over the food at a banquet hall in Oak Forest. I doubt the food was that good. The next bride getting married at LPZoo! exciting! It's not Lincoln park but Brookfield. Again not Chicago Smiley sad

This is the first episode I've seen the whole thing. It was fun to see what the brides were looking for. Personally, I loved the zoo. FH would not go for that though

Christina - just out of curiosity, why do you think the banquent hall in Oak Forest wouldn't have good food? Have you been to a wedding there?

My beef with 4 weddings is that the pit brides with vastly different budgets against each other. One of my couples was on the first season in the US (it's a British show...) and they had like a tenth of the budget of the other three couples. Their wedding was funky and fun, exactly like them, but when they were 'rated' by the other couples, they couldn't compete on glitz and bling. Being at their wedding, I can tell you that everyone had a ball, including them, and some of the comments of the other girls were downright hurtful.

I stopped sending these press calls to my clients because I just don't want them to feel judged on decisions they made because of style or budget. Weddings are stressful enough without that.

Kelly- I know food and steak. Most if not all of the premium meat supplier don't have accounts out there. I have not been to a wedding in Oak Park but have organized events in the area. I know where the good meat is in Chicago. Kelly I know my food and Chicago social scene. I did not mean that the food is bad but I am sure it was not GREAT. Great steak you find at the likes of Mastro's, Capital Grille Chicago cut etc. Forgive me I am partial I am from Orland Park and live downtown. I am a bit of a food snob.

    Christina W.-

Food snob or snob? I have been to several events at the banquet hall in Oak Forest and I have also eaten at their pub on several occasions. Their food is delicious and deserves it's rave reviews. I have never met anyone be it from Chicago or Orland Park who did not enjoy their food. And as it happens I do know their meat supplier who is based in Chicago as well as a smaller location in the southwest suburbs- they are premium quality and I'm sorry you've not had the opportunity to enjoy their products.

My photographer was the one for the wedding where no one was dancing. The venue was beautiful and the vows were nice but IMO, I need dancing. lol! He took awesome photos though!

Caitllin B. call it as you will. I am very well versed in Chicago food and social scene. I am sure people from Orland Park would be impressed by a banquet hall in Oak Forest. That is not an insult as I mentioned I am from Orland. But for someone like myself who enjoys lunch at Chicago tops restaurants with some of Americas top chefs, I am sure in my circle that food would not be considered IMPRESSIVE. Maybe good but not great. Also with that budget, it's not like they were served dry aged bone-in ribeye steaks with truffle mashed potatoes. My comment was not meant to be a criticism just a mere observation. Please don't feel sorry for me not enjoying there food. If I don't know anything, I know GREAT food!

It was fun to watch the program, I am home recovering from foot surgery. I love to watch anything Chicago.
