Four Weddings

I stopped watching the old version because it was too snarky!

I'm watching a new episode right now, and one wedding was canceled because the groom just... dumped the poor mother of his child, and another woman dropped out of the competition because of a bad injury - but her friends jumped in and planned her wedding for her!

This is SO MUCH BETTER!

I think it's better with friends. It's more supportive and a lot kinder.

Yes l saw that one and was sooo happy she didn't win! Lol. There are ppl that can't be happy for others no matter what

I binge watch four weddings and I love how people still have a nice wedding no matter what budget. Also show good for ideas, buy some ladies really be harsh against one another.

Hubby and I have watched almost all of these. There were one or two episodes I loved. One is our favorite-had a tattoo party, a circus performer at her huge studio, a drive-in movie theme with drive-in food and a wedding in water she called a 'mud wedding. All 4 women were just awesome, cool weddings and not one snark. Love the halloween ones and keep hubby around to heckle the snark comments. He's gifted with sarcasm lol. We both love watching the different styles and locations.

Could never figure out the scoring and dislike the new show with everyone knowing each other. It's beyond snarky and more personal with petty off-hand comments, underlying relation issues, etc. Not why we watch the show. It did give my husband a lot more thoughts to tell me for our vow renewal as we never had a wedding. Also gave him a better idea of how weddings can be done in this culture. He's Italian from a very traditional Catholic family. He didn't believe me that we could have halloween weddings or fun weddings. Was really surprised at how informal and personal we can be here. He has a lot of fun watching this aspect. The show is really great for showing the diversity in cultures and beliefs.

OMG I'm watching a new episode and in one episode they had a whole bunch of WW no-no's lol. They have honeyfunds, dollar dances, wedding party serving food. Just a whole bunch of etiquette faux pas. I would love to see this episode critiqued on these forums haha!

Lol! I used to love that show. I would watch 4 weddings and say yes to the dress marathons for hours!!! Now that I'm actually engaged, I haven't watched any lol. Their budgets are wayyyyyy higher than mine.
