My boobs are still very sore. It has been a week since I took the other 3 tests, that showed 2 strong red bars. Lately I have been feeling well, no more cramps, just mild discomfort on my right side, but no nausea. So I had an extra pregnancy test and now the 2nd bar took longer to appear. I can...

I can still see it but its not as bold as the other 3 i took last week. I am worried. I am scheduling a doctors appointment now. What's going on? I havent been spotting at all.

@ Mrs. L - Planned Parenthood does write prescriptions and fill them (at least the one that I went to for birth control when I was in college and in between insurance policies).

Thanks, Justine, I honestly wasn't sure. What about birthing facilities?

For the record, I am way past my baby days.... I am just curious.

I don't know the answer to that question, maybe someone else like Cabell can answer it for us.

I agree with basically everyone else, get into the Dr.'s office lady! Better safe than sorry.

I used Planned Parenthood while I was in college and had no insurance and I was basically living off of drip coffee and top ramen lol. They provide tons of support to people who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford it, but if you have insurance it's still a great resource. I liked it because when I was on the shot I used to get right in and out for my appointments. With my Lady Dr. I have now, appointments have to be made well in advance. It's worth it because I love her but just sayin'.

You know that actually happened to me too. I took two tests and the first one was positive for sure then i took the otherone and it was super light... Went to the doc and he said that it just means that its so early in your pregnancy thats why it does not come up... Don't be worried you'll be fine but go to the doctors so they can do their tests.

Well, I have just 10 more days for my insurance to kick in. Even if our insurance does not cover it, the hospital offers financial assitance. I went to the ER about a month ago for a horrible UTI and the bill was huge but we got a big discount thanks to their help. We had just applied of insurance so we still paid alot but their financial assistance helped with almost half the bill. Thank you. ALL of your comments have helped me feel more relaxed. Thank you.

My mom thinks I'm actually 2 months pregnant. She says she just feels it. Maybe she's right, I dont know but I feel very well, thank God. Smiley smile

@Mrs Lesenski, thank you for the clarification on the recommendation of the ER. I honestly missed the part about a possible tubal pregnancy, so yes, I agree on the ER.

If you were a week late for your period when you took the other tests, it's highly unlikely that you're 8 weeks pregnant--you're probably around 6 weeks, if you are now two weeks past when your period should have started. People are generally at four weeks pregnant when their period is due, because you're considered two weeks pregnant at conception (it's stupid; don't get me started).

Planned Parenthood can provide prescriptions, because they have doctors and nurse practitioners on staff. As far as I know, they do not provide birthing facilities.

Mrs Lesenski- I didn't mean she should go at all, I just meant that if she's only concerned by the fact that she hasn't had pregnancy symptoms and hasn't been bleeding or cramping, it would be financially wise to see a doctor by walk in rather than go to the ER. I would never tell someone not to go, ESPECIALLY if it was an urgent issue, but the fact is that your doctor will do all the same tests and can do the same procedures and it will not cost as much and an ER cannot stop a misscarraige from happening, it will happen anyway.
To pay attention to your body is critical because there are symptoms of tubal pregnancy (which so far she hasn't had any) and that to me would be a cause for concern, but if I knew then what I know now I would not have gone to the ER when I had my misscarraige, I would have gone to my doctor.
I was in no way trying to imply that ER doctors were less capable, simply that there was nothing more they could do than a clinic doctor could do

Unless of course surgery was needed, but a doctor could refer her if it was necessary.
Anyway.. I just wanted to make sure you knew I didn't mean that she should wait until she's on her deathbed to go to the ER and that going to the doctor would probably be the wiser choice of the two if she wasn't experiencing serious symptoms.

Thank you for your words ladies. I have been feeling very well, thank God.

Cabell, DH thinks the same about how pregnancies are calculated. He also thinks its stupid to count since the first day of your last period. Anywho.... I spoke too soon... I think I'm beginning to have nausea. Today after breakfast I began to feel a little sick with nausea.
