Freeze Dried Flower Petals?

Bump. I was wondering about this too. I found a few sites, but would be really interested to see other's opinions who actually purchased them.

I haven't started looking at flowers yet, but wouldn't freeze dried cost more? You would be paying for the drying process and equipment in addition to the actual petals. I'm curious about this now...

I don't think they cost a lot more, but I haven't priced out real ones. These are nice because you can order them a few weeks early. I think I am ordering burgundy ones for my aisle.

Yes! There's an Etsy vendor, Flowerfetti, that sells different dried flower and herb mixes.

My florist quoted me $150 for petals JUST for my two flower girls! I found 24 cups for $44 on petalgarden.com - I ordered a sample of the Ivory rose petals to see how I like them! I'll post a picture when the samples arrive

I do like the fact that I can order them early and not have to worry about them wilting or anyone slipping on them. We'll see how they are!

I skipped the real petals for the aisle as well, it's a rip off! Instead, I am making side aisle runners with the silk rose petals. Mine will be similar to this, except with orange petals.

Our ceremony is outside, and since the petals are attached to some tulle ribbon, we can even move it inside to double as decor if needed. No mess or cleanup
