French or american bustle

I don't have a picture, I'll have to take one at my second fitting this weekend. But I'm doing an American bustle, it transforms the dress is such a beautiful way! Basically just naturally blends the train into the skirt for a much fuller skirt, you can't even tell it's a bustle. My advice is to have your seamstress pin a couple of different bustle types and decide while on you like best.

I am doing an American bustle. I just prefer the way it looks with my dress. I agree with the other post. I would have your seamstress bustle it a few ways and let you look, then you can decide!

I would agree with the previous posters, ask your seamstress to pin it a couple of different ways so you can see the style and decide which one you like best. They should be able to give you an idea cost wise how much each would be also!

Personally I like the American version better. I just don't like the poufiness near the butt on the French style

I like the American bustle better but I have no idea how much they cost.
