Its really working out for us bc no one wants to get married on a friday the 13th so we had like no vendors tell us they were booked on our date. and our venue was booked out through like january except for 10.13 so we were all 'yup well take it!!"

Yes!!! Right here. Nope no hashtag, was not a priority for us but cute. Our first venue we looked at was actually booked for this date! Luckily we found an even better place, we were set on Friday the 13th.

I wanted to pick October Friday the 13th because it's ironic and I'm not making this up my FHs name is jason and we are getting married at a golf course called crystal lake. Lol But I wanted the ceremony outside so October might be too cold here.

ETA: I don't have any references to the movie in my wedding but I do plan on finding a "jason" mask for our photobooth

My FH and FMIL love horror movies and I thought it would be cool to have a Friday the 13th wedding, but we wanted a fall wedding. October 13th was already booked. I'm placing FMIL at table 13 though!

That's why we picked our date because eventually our anniversary would fall on Friday the 13th!

I love our date & our bridal party is super stoked about it - my guess is a Jason mask will show up in some of our photos - lol!

I booked my bridal dress trying on party for October 13th (my birthday is the 11th) and found the perfect dress for 50 dollars a week or so later!!!!!! jealous, 13 is my favorite number!!
