One of my friends from university got married earlier this year in March. She and her husband are EXTREMELY frugal. They decided to have their wedding in the groom's parent's backyard and have snacks afterwards. They even had a family friend marry them for free! She told me the entire thing costed her $300 including the new outfits they wore and her bouquet. I thought I would share a few pics (she gave me permission) to give others an idea who are on a very tight budget or her are very frugal like them. I thought her tiny ceremony was absolutely gorgeous. Only their parents were ptesent as their guests. Frugal ceremony, No reception. 1

Congrats to your friends and sometimes less is best. At the end of the day they are just as married. They got to the core of what's important...zero stress and Mr.& Mrs. They clicked the boxes on the important elements. Bride, groom, officiant, venue, food and most important their parents.
