Yea, no sorry. You may be able to get a balcony w/ an ocean view, but with a jacuzzi as well? Not happening for that budget. Unless you meant $5k per person lol.

Doing that in September, 5 days / 6 nights for about $3,080 (total) not including flights. The flights are about $380 right now per person.

That is where we are staying. 6 nights all inclusive (flights too) $2,700.

Our all inclusive with just ocean front view is 3,000 total for the two of us. I have no idea how much a jacuzzi would be though! I don't think it's impossible, but you're going to have to research dates that are cheaper than others, destinations, and different resorts. If you don't want to dig into all of that, definitely reach out to a travel agent!

We stayed in Punta Cana, DR for five days in May. It was about 3k. We had a jacuzzi on the balcony and had pool/ocean views! It was (I believe) Majestic Excellence I think?? There's a sister hotel called something colonial. I can't remember the name exactly.

Not sure how long you wanna go for, but time of year may make a difference.

I just came back from vacay in Punta Cana at Breathless and had an ocean view with a whirlpool tub. It was more of a party atmosphere, but I'm sure other resorts there may be more romantic. We requested ocean view on the non pool side so it was quieter. I went for 7 days for 1500$ including flights. I heard from other people that Secrets in Punta Cana was a bit nicer. Either way the DR is beautiful and quite affordable. A travel agent helped us book.

The Riu in Costa Rica has those two things. Price is a wee bit higher but we were looking at 10 days for about 6500. Take a few days out and you should be good

One of the hotels that we are staying in in Spain has a private pool on our balcony (not jacuzzi) and would be within that budget.

Check out sandals Granada. It's not a Jacuzzi but they have a large soaker tub on the balcony that overlooks the ocean. The rooms look absolutely stunning too.

I would check out the Sandals website. They offer balcony pools and soaking tubs at a few resorts. We purchased directly from the Sandals website when they were having a 60% off sale. They have sales every few months.

Excellence Playa Mujeres

We are staying at this place in Thailand for $86 a night. It's a 700 square foot room with king size canopy bed. We also have a $5,000 budget and are going to Bali and Thailand for 2 weeks. Flights are not horrible and food and hotels are cheap. You can even upgrade to a 1,000 square foot room with its own infinity pool for $200 a night. Crazy.

WOW! Thank you so much for the feedback everyone! I definitely think that $5,000 for both of us in October will be doable. I did find Excellence Riviera Cancun that looks great, but I'm looking for other options.

Not a jacuzzi, but some sandals rooms have a soaking tub on the balcony. I know they specifically do at sandals Montego bay. I'm sure some of the others do as well.
