Will you have a full open bar? Yea or nay?

Nay--it's too big of an expense for something that doesn't add much experience-wise for the guests. Beer, wine, and 2-3 signature cocktails is enough for us.

We’re having an open bar. We’re doing a Friday evening wedding and my aunt knows the venue owner so we’re getting a really good deal. We’re also having an adults only wedding with a shuttle option so it makes having the open bar a little safer (at least in my mind).

Full open bar. My FH prefers Tito’s so we have call liquor. We’re not going to have it during dinner though.

Our venue has a full open bar beer wine and liquor. We rented a historic mansion and will actually have two bars open during the reception- upstairs and downstairs. It was only $100 for the extra bartender to keep the second bar open after cocktail hour so we thought why not.

Nay - FH originally wanted a full open bar, but decided it just isn't necessary. We are doing wine and beer. Champagne for the toast.

Big yea! Our guests are drinkers and like to let loose and party, we want them to have a great time! It’s expensive but I think worth it.

Oh yeah!!! Our Venue offers a couple bar packages, and they're all open bar options. We upgraded the bar package from what was included in our wedding package to include all sorts of liquor, more than just beer and wine.

100% yes, non negotiable. Full open bar from a half hour before our ceremony, stays open thru dinner all the way til the night is done. Upgraded liquor and specialty cocktails, this was one of our biggest budget items, but the party is what we both want without a doubt so for us, it’s a huge YES!

Beer/Wine and a signature. It’s open. We’re purchasing our own liquor and have hired a bartender.

Yes, it was included in the price of our package. We are mostly all in our 30s, though, so I don't think anyone went hog wild.

Nay. We are not having any alcohol whatsoever; not even a toast (switched to Sparkling Apple Cider). My stepfather and FH's father both have issues with alcoholism so its just better to leave it.

We are doing an open bar for cocktail hour only. We will have one signature drink and wine. If they want to drink, they can pay for it! It may sound mean, but we aren't drinkers. I also don't want drunk people ruining our day!

Nope, way too expensive. We’re doing open for cocktail hour and then cash after.

No, we're doing a small reception at a rented shelter through the Parks & Rec in Estes Park. We'd have to get an expensive permit to serve alcohol at all. Most likely, we're going to do a small reception then invite people to go out to a bar later to extend the party (at their own expense)
