Galveston Beach Bachelorette Trip?

I went there to fix it up after hurricane Katrina (I think that was it) a bunch of years ago. I only remember going to a dive bar that was awesome where I learned 2 step and a gay bar which had karaoke and was also TONS of fun! Sorry I can't be more specific..Good luck!

I personally am not a fan of Galveston. I live in Dallas and grew up going to Galveston as a kid. The last time I remember going to Galveston (keep in mind this was years ago), I remember the beach we were at was so polluted, my aunt was digging in the sand to build a sand castle and sliced her hand on a huge piece of broken glass from a beer bottle. After that, we started going to Port Aransas. I haven't been there in years either, but I liked Port Aransas a lot more. I thought it was cleaner and there were more things to do. But that's just my experience with Galveston, and it is a little dated!

I think Galveston is GROSS! I moved to Houston 2yrs ago and i have been to Galveston twice each time i was unimpressed. (I am moved from Mississippi so i didnt come from very much)

No Galveston is not a beach its disgusting.

I'm from Houston. Galveston is not a pretty beach. Lol I live 30 minutes from Galveston and never go. It's gross. Don't go there.
