Garment bags for flying

I will be leaving mine in the garment bag from the bridal boutique I bought it from. And then I will be putting it inside a second, waterproof bag. I will be carrying mine onto the plane and putting it above the seats, so I wanted to be sure it was protected from any sort of moisture (Lord forbid somebody else’s bag has some thing that leaks on it)

Flying to Ireland so hopefully they will have room in a first class closet they can let me use rather than putting it above the seats but I’m not counting on that being the case, just hoping.
