Has anyone ever heard of auctioning off one of the garters? It sounds weird to me.

I attended a wedding that auctioned off the bride's garter. At first it was funny, the groomsmen made a big show of grabbing cash from their wallets and when they were outbid they started pooling their money together. In the end, a close relative of the bride won the garter (it might have been her dad) so that was a bit awkward.

Yuck! Maybe I've seen too many Law & Order episodes, but usually the people that pay for used undergarments are sickos. I can't imagine seeing that at a wedding lol!

Ew the garter thing is gross, I am wearing one for FH to find once we are back at the hotel after the wedding.
