Definitely ditching because it’s just weird and uncomfortable for everyone. Plus the origin of this tradition is just too creepy for me to ignore.

Yes we are going to do this my fh really wants to dk this and my garter came with an extra smaller one that says you're next on it so its a little more fun

I've only been to one wedding where this was a thing. I don't feel comfortable having FH throwing my under wear to a crowd of guys. It's also not something that I grew up with so, ditching!

The whole garter thing is just incredibly awkward to me and seems totally out of place at a wedding. That's a hard no for us!

Yes we are doing since we have decided to do the bouquet toss we have to do the garter toss. But we will not be having the person that catches the garter put it on the leg of the person that catches the bouquet as I have seen done before.
