Garter toss, yay or nay.

Im doing it but im also gonna have a beer garter so i can beer my husband he just doesn’t know yet

I will skip the garter toss

Skipping both tosses......but we're also skipping majority of the usual traditions (cake cutting, speeches) Only thing we're sticking too are the dances. I say every bride does what suits them best!

I don’t like the garter thing. I think it’s weird. I’m not opposed to the bouquet toss, but less about throwing it to single people, and more that I love the idea of throwing something and having people catch it. I’m brainstorming ways to modernize the tradition into more of a fun game where everyone can play (and not just single people).

That’s a hard no for both, too old school!

10000% skipping it. It’s fun, but distasteful. I doubt my 95 year old grandmother will be excited to see my husband go up my dress and toss it to his friends. 😭

We're going to do it. I think that if both want to and are comfortable doing it in front of family and friends then why not, have some fun. But if one or both don't want to then don't. It's your wedding your rules.
