Garter toss, yay or nay.

I don’t like this tradition at all! I’m not a traditional person or even a modest person by any stretch of the imagination, but the thought of my grandmother watching my husband stick his head under my dress is SO uncomfortable!!

I'm doing both! Ever since I was little I've wanted to YEET some flowers and have a fun reaction! As far as the garter - we are still going to do the find and toss because why not add some weird embarrassingoments I know my future husband will give me and our family but don't know about the "placing on bouquet catch person" - maybe a dance.

My fiance doesn't feel comfortable doing the whole fetching thing, I think I am just going to hand it to him for him to toss. I do plan on tossing my bouquet.

I also plan on making sure the DJ knows to not pressure people who don't want to participate to participate. I have seen DJs at weddings who nag older single women who aren't interested to do it and that is icky. I will have the DJ emphasize that it is optional.

I still like the bouquet toss but not a fan of the garter, definitely love the old fashioned ideas but that ones gotta go.
