I think you have a great handle on everything. I think the most stressful part of the planning is the licence. It is so strict where I am from.

I was worried about how I was going to squeeze that in before the ceremony, but now I am all good. Just have to wait a couple of weeks before we can do the appointment. What state are you in where it is so strict?

View Quoted Comment The strict part of what I am referring to is the paperwork, not the lockdown. As long as we wear masks, we can meet in person. They need a specific birth certificate. Apparently there are two types and one has a seal and one without. If it does not have a seal they have you reschedule and change the date of the ceremony. I don’t understand why one is valid and one is not.


He has two legal certificates. They both have an “S” on the end of his name but his passport and DL does not have it. The court told me to bring in everything he has. Apparently, he said his dad made a mistake when filing and put an “S” on it.

He can’t find his social security card . A new one is 9 months out. However, he can use his W2 with his number on that.
They said we’re good and not to worry about it. She understands I am stressed out about it.
