Getting into Shape

I have booked my venue, I have started planning and now I want to try on dresses!! BUT my plan is to lose --- well this is the plan --- 40 pounds. Dress shopping seems like it will be the tricky part. This is my 3rd marriage - I know... don't judge - and will be my FIRST dress!!!!

I started working out last week so that is a good start...it's the food and wine that gets me off track. Gotta stay focused and I know I will get there Smiley sexy

    Best of luck to you! I'm sorta working towards the same goal, weight loss/fitness in general has never been my strong suit Smiley atonished

    Good luck. I would say to try to cut out carbs and sugar and drink lots of water

    You'll kill it! Great job! I lost 15 lbs in 6 months doing HIIT classes, walking at least 3 miles every weekend, and cutting out soda, desserts, and coffee creamer. I know 40 is a lot more than 15 obviously but that's what worked for me.

    You can do it!

    Definitely more about food than exercising. Simple calories in vs calories out. It takes a long time to run off a cheeseburger.

    Dress shopping - If you plan to lose that much weight you should take that into consideration when choosing your dress. If you choose one that has a pattern and it's taken in a lot, the pattern could be ruined. You dont want your seamstress to make the dress 4 sizes smaller.

    Do Whole30!!! I lost 17 pounds in 30 days. I consistently worked out but I'd say 80% of it was clean eating. Just remind yourself that it's only 30 daysSmiley tongue You got this!!!

    In June I started doing weight watchers online and have lost 13lbs, I find it to be an easy plan to follow. PS- I trick I do with white wine- add diet tonic water- it makes you feel like you get more than you actually do. Good luck!
