Hello there,
My bridal shower is coming up in a few weeks and I was being so stress-free and uninvolved (which can be difficult for little Type-A me) but my mom keeps getting asked by family friends if she is buying me lingerie for my shower. Because apparently it’s tradition?
And if she isn’t, THEY want to buy me lingerie and bring it to the shower. My grandpa’s girlfriend apparently already bought me lingerie for the shower!
I thought the bridal shower was when you got gifts from your wedding registry? I am going to be completely mortified opening gifts like this in front of not only my family, but my fiancé’s family as well - I am a pretty private person. Help! Any insights?
