I am getting married that day too!

I'm eloping on March 20! So I have a dress and a photographer. Everything else just adds things that could go wrong. We plan to wing it- and with our best friends as the only guests I have no doubts it will be fun. March 20 is the best wedding date imaginable. The spring equinox is a time of balance and- if you care about stars and stuff (just for fun)- everything lines up to be a perfect day for expressions of love and new beginnings.

I have reached out to our venue to see if everything is still good to go, she said yes so we haven't cut down our guest list yet, but if it comes down to it will will have just our close family. Congratulations and good luck to you with everything as well

We hired a local Dj and caterer for our reception, they were both recommended by a lot of friends and family. I did a lot of asking around lol

Haha yes I love cake lol I ordered my dress a few sizes smaller, I have lost 20lbs so far and needing a little more for it to fit perfect!

I’m getting married March 20,2021! We have a few things to still take care of: my dress alterations, the minor details like jewelry and shoes for myself, his measurements for a the tux we picked out, flowers, some decorations to put together, our entire marriage prep (required getting married in the Catholic Church), booking for our wedding night, and basically all the small details other vendors do (still need to pick food etc). I haven’t even begun to think about bridal shower or bachelorette/bachelor parties as I don’t think my bridal party should be 100% responsible to put that together. There are a lot of things we just didn’t think mattered and chose not to do. It can totally be a daunting task and completely overwhelming in terms of your “to do” list. My only advice for you is figure out what matters most to you and take care of it and if you forget something or don’t have it, I’m sure in 20 years when you celebrate your anniversary with your husband your aren’t going to think about or even remember how you forgot some silly detail that no one seems to remember anyways. I am getting Married on 03/20/21 too!!!! We know the church, and the Pastor, and My dress, and the flowers are bought too, the photographer we are going to ask just did our engagement pictures (she is available on that day, but we haven't asked her because of all the hurricanes.) We Found a DJ, and a reception venue, and a Caterer, but if covid is still going strong then we are going to move the reception to a much later date. So deposits have been paid until we figure out the reception date. No wedding planner though, so we are doing it ourselves.

You have way more prepared than I am !

Don't forget the flowers (if you want them), the attire for you fiancé, wedding party gifts, wedding favors, DJ/band, cake, transportation/hotel for the night (if needed).
