Getting Ready Outfits - Need to Have or Nice to Have?

Need to have. You need something to get ready in haha! Not sure it has to be matchy matchy!

Nice to have

I think it depends on how many bridesmaids you have. If a big party, it's nice to have. If it is small (like one or two) it's necessary. For my first wedding I did sating robes with Mrs. XXX on the back for my MOH, my mother, and MIL. It was cute and they all really appreciated it, and used them afterwards. It was affordable since I only ordered four, including my own.

Nice to have, but definitely not needed. one of my friends did matching shirts for her bachelorette and then had the girls re-wear the same shirts for getting ready

I'd say brides choice, I didn't spend the money on them because as long as we are together and comfortable that is all that matters.

Need to have ! I’m not sure what these will be yet but i love the photos people get and I think it creates a sense of extra togetherness with your ladies on the big day

Nice to have, we're not doing anything specific, my mom is into graphic design and screen printing, so she's making us all sweats and tank tops to wear with a theme for the morning of. We're staying comfortable while we do hair and makeup. It don't care if the girls decide to wear something else, though. I've told them from the beginning that I don't care what they were (within reason) as long as they're comfortable.

Nice to have. I'd like to have them, but if we have to cut expenses this will be one the things I can live without.

I decided to do getting ready robes honestly it was more for me because I want pictures of us in them. I will be giving it to them as a little extra thing with their presents. I bought them really cheap at AliExpress and they are actually really nice!
