Getting Ready Outfits - Need to Have or Nice to Have?

They're not a necessity, but so nice to have! Matching outfits or robes look great in photos and they make you look nice even before you're done getting ready. I got my bridesmaids matching leggings and button-up shirts with their monograms on it. The photos came out great and I'm so glad I opted for matching outfits! Everyone was comfortable and looked good. I got myself the same outfit, but different colors. I love matching outfits and I think it's always a great gift for your bridesmaids.

Nice to have, but again I don't see the point.

It's another unnecessary expense. No wonder weddings cost so much these days.

Nice to have! definitely don't need them but i wanted to pamper my girls.

Sorry for anyone doing this, but my goodness. I don't want to see your staged getting ready pics, and don't want anyone seeing mine! It's not the wedding, its the bride and her side chicks in a robe -- um, no thank you. LOL

Definitely just a nice to have, but I don’t see the point just for cute photos. I do want pictures of me while I’m getting ready but I don’t see the point of group shots in PJs they’ll never wear again. I’ve bought a cute robe that I can see myself using in the future as well.

Completely optional. Matching robes (can't use tanks or tshirts since they will undo all the hard work of hair/makeup) are not cheap and they probably won't wear them except for theone time. Let them dress in whatever buttonup top they already own.
