Getting Ready Outfits

Brittany, on September 9, 2020 at 6:52 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9
So I want to do getting ready outfits (matching) for my girls. Maybe this is a dumb question but do the colors have to match my wedding colors? Our colors are dusty blue and burgundy, but wanted to maybe do matching outfits in a pink/rose gold for them. Totally down for dusty blue for them if it’s normal to stick to wedding colors

It’s totally up to you and how you want your pictures to look. I am doing my wedding colors for the robes but I switched them all up. I am wearing a purple and my girls are wearing white robes. And I have my mom and sister in law in silver. I got all mine for about $15 a piece on Amazon

The colors don't have to match at all! People commonly pick their wedding colors, but there is certainly no rule saying you have to. If you like the pink/rose gold, go for it!

Your wedding, your choice. Most don't but you can do anything you like.

You can do whatever color you want, but I will say it might look strange if you do other colors.

I got matching pjs for my girls, but did not match my bridal colors. I went with dusty blue since I thought it suited their style more than my color choice. (My colors are dusty rose, wine and plum.)

I would at least have them in the same color scheme as your wedding colors so your full set if photos looks cohesive. For example, if your wedding colors are navy and burgundy and punch of neon pink in the pajama photos would stand out.

Matching your wedding colors isn't a requirement. Do whichever colors that you like.
