Getting ready schedule when I’m the only one getting Hmu?

I’m working on my timeline and need to let my hair & makeup artist know what time I need to come in but I literally have no clue. I’m the only one going into the salon getting hair & makeup done. Our first look starts at 2, ceremony starts at 5. Ideally I would like to not get everything done any earlier than I have to because it’s already a little far in advance from the actual wedding because of the first look. But then does my bridal party just get ready by themselves? My maid of honor wants to drive me to the salon, does she get ready before all of that? How soon before the first look time should I be back from hair & makeup if I decide to time it as close as possible to the first look?

If your first look is at 2, I would definitely recommend starting by 10AM or exactly at 10AM. Especially because you have to travel to the salon and back to the venue. I personally would want to be back at least an hour before the first look.

I would first start with asking your stylists how long they’ll need to do your hair & makeup. Then work from there. From what I recall seeing in my contract, they budget about 45 mins each service, depending on what you want done.

You’ll definitely want to be on site at least a half hour maybe even an hour before photos. To get yourself together, touch ups, and so you aren’t rushing.

Does your bridal party want to get ready together? Either way, I’d just select a time they need to arrive at the venue, ready to go.
