Getting rid of last minute excess water/bloating

Hey everyone, I'm 11 days out and wondering if you have any advice on getting rid of last minute excess water retention and bloating. Sometimes I feel great and look fine, and other days I feel soo bloated and gross. I just want to look and feel my best for the wedding day. I eat pretty clean, don't cook with a lot of salt, and don't drink. I don't know what else to do! Thoughts on natural diuretics like ginger or lemon tea?

    I don't know how true this is, but I was told that the more water you drink, the less you retain because your body doesn't feel the need to store it. I've been on a strict water-only thing since last January (not for the wedding, started as an experiment) and I haven't really felt bloated at all since.

    I agree about drinking oodles of water. Like multiple liters a day. You can add lemon to it too. That's my only real advice though. Was going to say cut salt but sounds like you've got that covered, which makes me think you probably drink a lot of water too. Sooo I'm useless. Sorry.

    Could you maybe be intolerant something that you are eating that is causing the bloating? Things like legumes, gluten, soy, and dairy can be very bloat causing and doesn't have to cause you discomfort. Something to think about.

    Drink dandelion tea (any brand) maybe 2-3 times/day and Yogi Detox tea once or twice a day, and then plenty of water and fruits/veggies. It really helps get rid of any bloat. I also echo the suggestions to stay away from gluten and dairy. It's a terrible way to live, but worth it for a week and a half Smiley smile
