Does anyone know if the public can rent the yacht club for a wedding? Or is it for members only?

Hi Kara!! Welcome to WeddingWire!! My assumption would be that holding events like weddings are for club members only, but you can easily call them and double check that. Or it might be that it allowed non-members to come in and have events, but at a more expensive price.
