Gift for brother - walking me down the aisle.

Hannah, on February 17, 2020 at 2:43 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 4

My dad passed almost 7 years ago, so he will not be here to walk me down the aisle.

My brother (my only sibling ) will be walking me down the aisle...I want to give him a gift, something personalized, but meaningful for him, my dad, and I.

I plan to sew part of a tie on the inside of my gown, but I also want to incorporate that same material into something for my brother to symbolize my dad being there with us....but I can't think of anything special to do!

Any ideas?!Smiley heart

Maybe have it sewen to the inside of his jacket or the backside of his tie or pocket square?

This is a hard one if you're trying to personalize it in memory of your father but what do you think about maybe getting something that your brother likes such as a flask or a watch and maybe have engraved a quote that your father would say often or maybe his birthday or something like that.

I love the idea of having it sewn inside his jacket, tie or created into a pocket square. If it’s a pocket square he may get more wear out of it (and maybe even to his own wedding someday if he plans on getting married).
