Gift for daughter

Julia, on May 24, 2021 at 10:28 PM Posted in Family and Relationships 0 11
I want to get our daughter something special for our wedding. She will only be 3 at that point but I want to make sure we include her. She is going to be a part of our engagement photos and I am planning on having her hold a cute sign for them. Or stand next to the sign since she’s not always listening. Any ideas on something cute to get for her for our wedding? I do want it to be more sentimental and I’m not sure if getting her something more expensive is the way to go. I want it to be something she can have life long to remember the wedding day.

Set aside money for her college fund. She’ll remember that a lot more 10,20 years from now.

Maybe a cute handkerchief for her when she gets married? I've seen these on Etsy and they are quite heartfelt. Most can be found on Etsy and tailored to your little girl.

Maybe gift her your wedding jewelry? Or give her something that compliments yours and then she can have a whole set when she’s older?
    That handkerchief is beautiful too!

If her ears are pierced, a set of pearl earrings or a necklace with a pendant that can later be moved to a longer chain as she gets older. Since she is young now, after the wedding, you could keep it safe in your jewelry box for her to wear on fancy occasions.

I was going to suggest jewelry! I'm not too familiar with kid-size jewelry but if there's something she could wear now that she could also wear as an adult, I think that would be awesome. Maybe you could find something that matches your jewelry?

Her ears aren’t pierced but who knows, she could have them pierced by them. A pair of earrings could definitely be a good option.

This is what I was also leaning towards. I was honestly thinking of a locket but it might be a big big at 3 years old but I don’t know how much I’d even put fine jewelry on her at 3. I almost need reassurance I’m not crazy for thinking this way

We always wanted to start our daughter with an add a pearl necklace. Each year you add a new pearl until she’s 16 or 18 and then you gift it to her. You could start her off with one for the wedding and each year on your anniversary you can add a new pearl. Here’s the link just in case.
