Gift missing?

I would assume that they're going to give it between the shower and wedding or at the wedding.

Figured that too, we've made a joke that it's the mystery gift...lol

We got quite a few Crate & Barrel packages where one or two items were backordered for weeks. So we got one part of the present a while later in the mail.

We received a few packages at the wedding, so they may be waiting until the wedding, or it may be backordered and it will come in the mail.

There were a few gifts purchased from my registries before my shower that I didn't get until the wedding. It's very likely they are waiting to give it to you later or as others have said it could be on backorder.

That happened to me .. someone bought me a gift from me and my husband from bed Bath and beyond but we never received it we talk to someone and they told us that the guest had picked it up They didn’t have any information so when our wedding came up we never got the gift because that particular person whoever that person was never showed up to the wedding ... it was wired. So I know how your feeling maybe your guest will take it to the wedding... we also had gifts 🎁 at our wedding and money cards. Good luck hope u get your gift.

It may well be a wedding gift. We had a couple people who bought both at once. I wouldn’t sweat it til after the wedding.

Even then, it happens. We registered for a pie plate and I saw that it was purchased (and by whom) but it was never actually given to us. She gave us something else at the shower, and did not attend the wedding. I don’t know what the circumstances are regarding it not being given to us, but....it wasn’t, so, ...well. Nothing honestly. We just let it be. I could tell from the thank you manager that it was purchased in store, not mailed, so no shipping incident. So either she changed her mind on what to give, bought 2 things (maybe eventually returned one), bought a wedding gift but never actually gave it to us. Either way, we didn’t receive it and nothing to be done. Things happen. I’m going to see her soon for the first time since the wedding, maybe it’ll be an anniversary present 🤣

Is there a way to track the gift after purchase? Like, was it shipped somewhere? If so, check to see if the tracking shows it was delivered. There are a lot of "porch pirates" out there who steal packages. I hate to think that's what happened to your gift, but you can't really know for sure until you check it out.

I would wait until after the ceremony, but even then if you don't get it someone may have bought it but forgotten or lost it. I wouldn't worry about it.

I received mostly gifts and just a few gift cards and a couple of checks. I know for a fact that we will be getting several gifts at the wedding as well as gift cards and checks or cash. I think it somewhat depends on the person.
