Gifts for mob and mog

smiller2018, on May 22, 2018 at 3:53 PM Posted in Family and Relationships 0 5
I am struggling with what to get mine and my fiance's mom as gifts for our wedding, I was going to pay for them to have their hair and makeup done but they're both very particular when it comes to that and want to do it themselves. There's obviously jewelry, but I'm not sure if they'd want to pick that out themselves too. What did you get your mom's??

Hey there! Welcome to the WeddingWire Community! Smiley ring Jewelry is always a great idea. Have you thought of Alex and Ani bracelets? They're pretty affordable and trendy. They have a wide variety of options ranging from bracelets with specific symbols, initials, and other personable selections. I also think the hair and makeup idea would be great. Although their picky, you can just have them explain how they would like their face and hair styled. Gift cards are another option. Just get an idea of their preferences and let that guide you.

    Good luck!

We are getting our moms the Mother's Love necklace from James Avery and writing both of them cards. Simple, yet a very sweet gift that they will have forever.

I got my FMIL a cute ring dish off of Etsy that says "Thank you for raising the man of my dreams" and a nice bottle of wine. I wrote her a letter too.

My mom died when I was young, so I just had to get a gift for my FMIL.

I got custom handkerchiefs for key people, including moms with a heartfelt message and face masks. We also paid for their hair and makeup.

My mother in law helped with my shower so I had given her a gift for movie and popcorn, a tumbler (she loves them) and a note.

It doesn't have to be expensive but thoughtful.

I'm planning to give both a small gift card for their favorite nail or hair salons and a photo key chain with a sweet sentiment on it. FMIL's will say: thank you for raising the man of my dreams" and my mom's will probably say: "I promise to always take care of her" (or somehting like that). We're going to do the photo key chains for all the parents/step parents but the gift cards will vary. FH's step dad's card will be to red lobster (he loves red lobster and will be sad that there won't be shellfish at the wedding), FH's step mom will probably be for Michael's aaaand I haven't figured out what the rest of the gift cards will be.
