Hi!

My fiance and I are both blessed with amazing parents who have contributed a lot to the wedding... SO we want to make sure we get them a gift to thank them for everything they've done.

Our moms aren't huge jewelry wearers, and his dad does not drink so nothing that includes those.

We made really nice photo albums for our parents after the wedding. They all love them.

We did the same as Amanda. I would maybe just write each a heartfelt note and an IOU for a wedding album. If you're set on a real gift, maybe a gift card to their favorite restaurant or something like that?

We did the same as PP's. Nice photo albums when we got pictures back. A heartfelt thank you note would wonderful until then.

Other than photos after the ceremony, this is not a usual time for you to give them gifts. Traditionally, giving a gift to someone who has given you money and support is like you inflated the amount to afford gifts to give back. Not good. Give each of them a long letter of thanks, and pictures later.

Like others have mentioned, a nice photo album with photos from your wedding day is really nice! You could also gift them a nice framed photo of you and them from the wedding, that's what FH and I plan on doing! We're also going to include a handwritten note.
