Gifts for your spouse on the day?

Good morning lovelies. I wanted to ask if anyone gave a gift to your significant other the day of the ceremony? If so, how did you present it to them? I am looking for any creative ideas. Would love to hear your stories. Thank you.

I'm giving my fiancé a pinky ring as a gift, well he knows about this gift, but he doesn't know I haven't figured out how I am going to present it to him yet. I may give it to my brother the night before the wedding, to give it to him the morning of.

I won his/her wedding bands in a bridal drawing so I used the money I had saved for his band to get the ring he actually wanted.

LOL we won them too. I wanted a different wedding band that matches my engagement ring better but I will still wear it esp because he'll put it on my finger so it's special.

Yes!! He bought me another wedding band to match my ring as well.

The ring that we won I'll wear it when I'm doing anything active, my actual band is too cute to be worn in the gym. lol

I bought sports wedding bands for working out or traveling. Maybe down the line I will upgrade to something else or I was thinking to get the ring cut in half if that is even a thing. I do not mind that it is plain it is just thicker than I would want which looks odd with my current ring. I feel if it would thinner then it would work.

This sounds great! I am planning a boudoir session as a gift for him. I haven’t thought of how to give it to him. I think your idea is the best! I think I will send him away with the pictures a day before to open it! It would spice up the honeymoon we are having right after the wedding!

My husband and I agreed on no gifts, but then he surprised me with a gift while I was getting ready. He had my mom give it to me with a note he had written. I was so surprised. I had told him I really wanted a tiara to wear with my veil, but he said he didn't like that idea as he isn't into the fairytale princess thing. However, he only said that because he already bought a tiara for me since he knows me so well. He had my mom's help picking it out. I absolutely loved it and it was so much more special because it was a surprise from him.

Awwww that's sweet. This gift is a surprise because I want to do it. I don't want him to stress about getting me a gift. I want him. To feel special that day.

I wrote a letter to my FH I’m having his best man give him. It has a lot of light-hearted inside jokes with some serious tones, because he’s not super mushy-gushy. This is even cheesier, but I’m also getting him a tea pot full of “bonus gifts” like on The Office- a pair of donut socks (he’s a cop that fits the donut stereotype 100%), a funny picture he took of me on our second date, a tiny slug stuffed animal because I stepped in a patch of slugs while he was proposing to me (yes, really), the folded up vet bill from when I accidentally cut off the tip of our dog’s tail because that’s the first night he told me he was going to marry me (I was hysterically sobbing to his dispatchers that he needed to come home because there was a serious injury in the family, and they ended up DISPATCHING HIM ON A 911 CALL TO OUR HOUSE), and the paint sample from painting his daughter’s room because I fell in the bucket of paint and it was the first time he said he loved me (while laughing, of course). I should probably mention he’s been really wanting a teapot, and this was the perfect opportunity. If you guys aren’t a super serious couple, something cute and also sentimental might be the perfect way to go!

I think it's very thoughtful what you put into this for him. I think it's great.

I did! (He didn't. He hadn't heard of the tradition and seemed a little stymied by it, but he did go out and get us a nice breakfast the next day.)

I actually bought something from the WW shop. As our wedding was themed to our favorite baseball team, I customized a baseball with our wedding hashtag - our last names smushed together. Then I wrapped it, slipped it to the BM, and requested a video. DH got a smidge teary.

We now have it in a case with some other things, beneath our TV.
