Glamsquad or Drybar for hmau

Angelika, on October 7, 2018 at 8:51 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 5

Anyone considered, or has done, GlamSquad or Drybar for bridal and BS hair and make-up? Drybar charges $45 for blowouts for the maids vs the going rate at $125 in DC, and GlamSqaud can do make-up for $100 vs $250 for bridal. Think it's worth saving, or go with the professional route?

You could always do a trial run & see which you prefer.

Hi Angelika! Welcome to WeddingWire and congrats on your engagement!

Agreeing with the others, doing a trial and seeing which you prefer is a great idea! That way, you can ensure you'll be happy with the results and proceed on choosing accordingly. Smiley heart Do you have a specific makeup and hair style or inspo in mind?

    Hey Angelika!

What are you thinking in terms of going to Drybar/GlamSquad vs. going to a salon? I've personally gotten my hair done at Drybar a few times and have had good experiences, but I will say their prices vary based on which hairstyle you choose! I've paid the same amount at Drybar for a hairstyle as I would have paid at a salon before! Just a helpful tip to keep in mind Smiley smile

Dry bar is 45 just for the blow out-if anyone wants an updo or a braid, it’s extra. Just keep that in mind. I use them on a regular basis, when I’m too lazy to do my own hair. I’ve never had a bad experience-but not sure I would want to deal with that busy of a salon on my wedding day.
