Glass Seating Chart

Ludwig, on July 23, 2017 at 12:25 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 8

You think it'll be easier than your previous ideas, but it isn't and now you're dedicated and gotta finish it to the end. Hahah. What are you doing for your seating chart?

Also, my florist just canceled on me, three months before the date so bring on alllll the diy. Haha. Thank God we weren't heavily decorating!

I think your idea is super cool! I have no idea what i want to do for mine yet. Sorry about your florist. Did you have a contract? Did they say why they cancelled?

She said since my order was under 1500 I didn't require a contract. (Mine was $1200) I never thought they would cancel so that's my fault. "Hello, this seems to be a lot more effort than we had expected and we are very busy that week. We are going to have to cancel our obligation. Good luck on all your flower endeavors!" COOL. Thanks. Haha this was why I always have such a bad feel with florists. Nothing ever goes right with even any of my photo client brides. It's astounding. And insulting. But it's whatevrr

Wow... they sound wildly unprofessional... they probably should have let you know this beforehand. The nerve of some "vendors".

What... that's crazy! Can you take on the additional DIY? Don't add to much to your schedule, DIY is time consuming.

Good luck with your seating chart! That sounds like a big and finicky project. Post a pic when you're done.

My seating chart, I printed the names out and stuck them on a mirror.

The glass idea sounds really lovely, can you change it once it's done though? Just be aware that the seating chat is one of the last things you can finalise. It can't be done unti after all the rsvps are done. Even after that it can still change. We had to change our up to the morning I had to send it to the hotel (48hs ahead) even after that I had a few people cancel, but all I could do as ask the hotel to remove x amount of seats from table. It does sound like a nice idea the glad painting. I painted on wine glasses for mine. I found the posca markers great, I was able to change the writing if I wanted until I sealed it. Just something to think about

Thanks Maria! I took the four days off before the wedding to finish that and do our flowers. I have retired florist grand mother so she is going to help me! It'll be great Smiley smile i'm making the table decor the day before and one of my close friends offered to set it all up for me since they are simple and I have sketches of what they will look like! As for the seating chart, I am not putting the seating chart names on there until rsvp's come in and I report the total to the caterer's. After that, I've paid for them anyways, so if they don't show up there will just be empty seats I guess! Haha
