A professional stylist could add a gloss to your hair. I recommend after summer sweaty season and a few weeks before your wedding. I have black hair but opted for clear as sometimes this affects my pillow case.

Its a multi-purpose spray that is not only a heat protectant, but is activated by heat. Its not heavy and doesn't cause any ick on the hair. My stylist recommended it and I love it (it's also what Kim Kardashian's stylist uses if that helps).
