Glow sticks?

We don't have a theme. Just think it'll light up the dance floor and be something fun when drunk lol

Sounds fun and I bet you're going to have some fun photos by the end of the night.

We got glow sticks and I think we'll have the venue staff put them out at a certain time instead of them being out from the start of the reception. I think it'll be a lot of fun!! Not doing any other stuff like glowing glasses or hats or anything - I think that might go into the childish realm a bit but I think just glow sticks is fun!

I brought them to my cousin's wedding.., they were a huge hit, even with the 80+ crowd

I don't think it's childish, because they come out after the reception formalities and traditions are over and the fun party begins. I mean, you've paid for the DJ for the night, you might as well take full advantage.

I love the idea and thought about doing glow sticks myself.

Our DJ provides glow sticks for our reception, mostly for the kids. But looking through his portfolio, the pictures did look really cool!

We have a ton of glow sticks, mostly part of gifts my kids received, and we will have a good amount of children coming to our wedding so I plan on having a kids table and putting the glow sticks out there.

I just attended a wedding this weekend, where the bride and groom gave glow sticks to the kids...which I thought was a cool idea and they had a blast! But the adults were playing with them and wearing them just as much as the kids! Lol. I think it's a fun idea.
