Has anybody had any luck using nostalgic impressions glue gun wax on the outside of their wedding invites? I've tried other waxes and they just break apart but this wax is amazingly flexible and sturdy you nearly have to completely bend it in half to crack it. The envelopes I have are self sealing but I still wanted the wax just to make it more appealing since my invites are going to be homemade, simple, and light. I don't really want to do 2 envelopes to cover it. I did notice that these seals can peel right off of the paper so I figured I could use glue dots or some other kind of glue to really make it stick securely. I am pretty sure that my invites will still be under an ounce even with the wax, but i will be sure to get one fully completed invited weighed before mailing. My post office said they do not do hand canceling so I would just be stuck sending it through the machines. So I thought I would check here to see if anyone else has had real luck using this wax for the outside of their invites. Thank you in advance!!
