Godmother walking with Grandfather for processional

I would like to include my godmother in the wedding and my grandpa who is about 90 years old can walk ok by himself but I think we’d all feel more comfortable if he had some ones there in case he needs help. I was thinking it might be nice if they walked together for the processional. My godmother is my grandpas daughter. I know it’s not really common to have it done this way so will it be awkward asking my godmother to walk with him? Or do you think she would appreciate being part of the wedding?

Your processional can include anyone you'd like to include! The only way you will know if your Godmother will appreciate being part of the wedding is if you ask her and find out - i would imagine she would be delighted to be included as being the processional is a huge honor.

I would think she would be honored to be apart of your wedding in any capacity. If you want you could even include her in getting ready with you in the morning.
