Godparents

My god parents will not be there. But my FHs will. I have never seen anyone other than BP and parents/grandparents walk down the aisle. If you want to have them walk down the aisle, that's fine. It will just make your ceremony longer.

If they've played a prominent role in your life, then sure, I say do it! It may not be typical, but that's ok....the best weddings have some personal element to them. I think it's nice if it fits your situation. Not sure of the order of things - your officiant may have some input there.

We aren't having the godparents walk down the aisle but we are giving each of the godmothers crosages

God Parents are often the last seated before parents. Then the processional begins, and the wedding party starts walking. But it is not a fixed thing. Other people have Godparents sit as regular guests, but have grandparents , then parents, last being MOB if Father is walking bride. Before the processional. Then processional starts for wedding party.

I am having two of my aunts walk down the aisle. The order will be my dad & stepmom, my two aunts, my mom. Then the bridal party will walk down with different music playing

My godparents are my aunt and uncle and they will be seated along with guests. Fh doesn’t have godparents

Our god parents will be walking in before the mothers. It’s our family tradition to have grandmothers god parents then mothers walk down the aisle

I would say that's up to you. I'd probably have them seated just before the mother of the bride and groom. My father has passed away, and i'm considering asking my Godfather to walk me down the aisle.

The most recent wedding I was at the godparents were part of the processional. I believe they walked in first, then grandparents, then parents, then bridal party.

I don't think we will be doing this as one of my godparents passed away.
